Successful network isn’t necessarily unbiased | www.caledoncitizen.com | Caledon Citizen: "Fox News (prefer “Faux News”) is the most successful cable news network, but that has nothing to do with it being fair, reasonable or unbiased reporting. Popularity and quality often do not connect, particularly when it comes to media.

Margaret Atwood and the people (including myself) who oppose the coming north of this station, and putting it into a privileged position, oppose not only the underhanded political machinations that are behind it, but the importation of the cultural style of Fox. Fox enables ranting and hate mongering homophobic, racist, anti-Islam, xenophobic media figures to vent their bile. Canadian television can be more “boring” as it is more civil, fair-minded and respectful of Canadians and non-Canadians."
